“Broken” Matt Hardy and “Brother Nero” Jeff Hardy
By Todd Matthy
On Thursday December 15th at 8pm/7C on POP TV, the wrestling world will be rocked to the core when TNA WRESTLING presents TOTAL NONSTOP DELETION!!!!!!!
An entire episode of IMPACT WRESTLING originating from the The Hardy Compound that will culminate in a final battle known as APOCALYPTO.
If past journeys to the Compound are any indication, there is no way for me to explain what you should expect. So I turned to “Brother Nero” himself, JEFF HARDY, to explain TOTAL NONSTOP DELETION!
I Was Wrong: Goldberg’s Return IS Exciting

A month ago I posted an article about how Goldberg coming back to WWE was going to be a disappointment. I was wrong. Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series and did it in 90 seconds.
What appeared to be a story designed to give Brock Lesnar back his biggest loss (ala Hogan/Warrior II) became the most talked about 90 seconds of wrestling in 2016. The question on everyone’s mind is “where do they go from here?” The answer: several places. (more…)
Goldberg Returns? Don’t Get Too Excited

Forbes.com reports that Bill Goldberg will be returning to WWE.
This is exciting news for fans who got into wrestling during THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS. WCW’s unstoppable for is returning and, from all video game trailers, is on a collision course with Brock Lesnar. Many of you are excited and you should be. I’m not because I saw this scenario two years ago and all signs point to history repeating itself.

It’s very hard for friends and family to understand why I’m a wrestling fan. Making it harder is when you try to show them, WWE books something stupid and your they look at you and say, “you watch this?” (SummerSlam 2005 is a perfect example)
Then something reminds you of why you love wrestling. A match that inspires you to buy a ticket because you wanted to be there and witness history. Last year in Brooklyn, Sasha Banks and Bayley reminded me of why I fell in love with wrestling. Want to know why and see EXCLUSIVE photos and video from the Nosebleed Section? (more…)
WWE Draft: Put Tag Teams and Women on Separate Shows
Posted: July 18, 2016 in Commentary, Entertainment, Professional Wrestling, Sports, TV, WWETags: Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bret Hart, Charlotte, Chris Jericho, Divas, John Cena, Monday Night Raw, Natalya Neidhart, Professional Wrestling, Randy Orton, RAW, Ric Flair, Sasha Banks, Shane McMahon, Sheamus, Smackdown, Stephanie McMahon, Sting, the Bella Twins, the Miz, the Undertaker, Triple H, Vince McMahon, WWE

William Regal and Triple H with (in order): Bayley, Sasha Banks, Finn Balor, and Enzo and Cas. The future of WWE
So the WWE draft is this week. Like most of you I’m eager to see who ends up on what show. I am also scared. I’m scared because splitting the roster in the name of “unpredictability” could ruin two divisions just when they’ve started to rebuild: the Women’s division and the Tag Team division. My solution, give the women to RAW and the Tag Team’s to SMACKDOWN. Here’s why? (more…)
They Blew It!

There was a lot to like about Wrestlemania 31. The opening ladder match for the Intercontinental title was great, Cena and Rusev did a good job with a grand entrance from Rusev, Paige, AJ, and the Bellas had a good match, Stephanie, Triple H, the Rock and Ronda Rousey was gold, and Seth Rollins cashing in to win the WWE Championship was the right call. However, despite all these highs, there was a deep low. Sting lost and it was the wrong call. Here is why. (more…)
Sting in WWE-FanFic Comes to Life. Now What?

It’s been awhile since I’ve written a wrestling post. But this merits attention. When I started this blog a few years back, to amuse myself and hone my writing skills I did a fantasy booking scenario where Sting came to WWE.
I laid out on a week-to-week basis, everything that would’ve been done had Sting become a full-time member of WWE’s roster. Was it good? That’s for you to decide. I consider what I did my scratching of the itch to be a WWE Writer. I still want to write wrestling, (and may in another format ;)) but if it doesn’t happen, at least I know I put my ideas out there. Then something happened.
At Survivor Series on November 23rd, Sting made his first appearance in a WWE ring. And he did it to conclude a major story. I screamed. I couldn’t believe it. The moment I dreamed of was here and it didn’t disappoint. Sting laid out Triple H, allowing Dolph Zigger to pin Seth Rollins and free the WWE Universe from the oppression of the Authority. It was perfect. Now what? (more…)
