Penelope copy

Art by Nicolas Chapuis

Penelope
Age 16.

Kingdom: Pierotte.

“Pretty” Penelope is the daughter of Queen Aleta and High King Phillip and is the current High Princess of the Five Kingdoms. Originally from the Valley kingdom of Pierotte, Penelope comes across as a judgmental elitist. The reason she’s elitist is because that’s what she’s been raised to be. All her life she’s been told, “a princess must do this…” and be an obedient wife and queen. She wants to win the Midsummer Recital so she can make a statement that she’s an individual, not a doll on a pedestal. To bring some excitement into her life she disguises herself and sneaks out of the palace from time to time to see what the people she’s ruling are actually like.

So how does the robot invasion change Penelope? Back us on Kickstarter to find out.

Clarisse copy

Clarisse

Age: Age 14

Kingdom: Castillia.

Shy but loyal, Clarisse is the perfect best friend. She’s always ready to help out her friends and is good at keeping secrets. (Especially Zara’s) Clarisse is also clever and can come up with clever solutions at a snap of the finger. Which comes in handy during a fight with giant robots. When she’s not covering for Zara, Clarisse enjoys drawing and painting.

Two of my favorite things are heavy metal music and comic books, so whenever I hear that a band writes songs based on a comic (like Iced Earth did with Spawn) or a musician is making comics of their own (like Tom Morello or Claudio Sanchez) I’m curious. The latest collaboration between a band and comic book creator is Matt Miner (Liberator) and Earth Crisis for Liberator/Earth Crisis: Salvation of Innocents. (more…)
