“Broken” Matt Hardy and “Brother Nero” Jeff Hardy

By Todd Matthy

On Thursday December 15th at 8pm/7C on POP TV, the wrestling world will be rocked to the core when TNA WRESTLING presents TOTAL NONSTOP DELETION!!!!!!!

An entire episode of IMPACT WRESTLING originating from the The Hardy Compound that will culminate in a final battle known as APOCALYPTO.

If past journeys to the Compound are any indication, there is no way for me to explain what you should expect. So I turned to “Brother Nero” himself, JEFF HARDY, to explain TOTAL NONSTOP DELETION!

Forbes.com reports that Bill Goldberg will be returning to WWE.

This is exciting news for fans who got into wrestling during THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS. WCW’s unstoppable for is returning and, from all video game trailers, is on a collision course with Brock Lesnar. Many of you are excited and you should be. I’m not because I saw this scenario two years ago and all signs point to history repeating itself

Controversy has recently brewed up between former WWE Diva Dawn Marie’s charity Wrestler’s Rescue and the Ugandan Giant Kamala. Kamala has been suffering from diabetes. So much so his legs were amputated. To help with his medical care. Wrestler’s Rescue teamed up with the MWF to raise money and awareness of Kamala’s condition. Recently, Kamala posted a video saying he received no money from either organization. However, Dawn has recently released checks sent to Kamala that were returned to her. You can see her proof below. She will be posting a video explaining her side later today. More will be posted about this story as it develops. (more…)

This summer, “Miss July” Jessa Hinton was kind enough to grant me an interview. Please support Jessa by voting her 2012’s “Playmate of the Year.” She deserves it.

To find out why follow Jessa on Twitter, on Facebook.

And don’t forget to vote here.

Jessa Hinton is more then just a pretty face. Not only is she Playboy’s Miss July who’s  fun and personable, she’s also a driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial young lady. She not only does interviews for “Top Rank Boxing” but is creating her own fashion line. Add in all her personal appearances and you have one busy girl. It was very exciting that she found the time to talk to me last week about her being Miss July, upcoming projects, and whether she prefers UFC to Boxing. (more…)

Clearing the smoke.

Maria Kanellis won our hearts as the cute and ditzy backstage interviewer on “Monday Night Raw” who loved watching paint dry. But as time went by Maria proved she was more than just a pretty face. She showed how tough she was by taking brutal bumps at the hands of both female and male wrestlers, all while engaging in a hilarious on screen romance with Santino Marella. It wasn’t long before Maria caught the eyes of PLAYBOY, who made her a cover girl in 2008, and Donald Trump who cast her on “The Celebrity Apprentice.” It was also around this time that I conducted my first interview with Maria for Coed Magazine.  This year Maria, along with former Divas Jillian Hall and Taryn “Tiffany” Terrell, embark on a nationwide appearance tour called “Diva Mania.” I recently got to talk to Maria again about the tour, her WWE tenure, and plans for the future in an exclusive interview. Much has been said about UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar’s post-fight antics after UFC 100 this past weekend. While they were definitely inappropriate by all standards of sportsmanship, Brock’s antics will not hurt the UFC.

Brock Lesnar has the potential to be for MMA what Mike Tyson was for boxing. He is an animal who tears his opponents apart without a second thought. His comments afterword are reminiscent of Tyson’s pre-fight commentary where he threatened to eat Lennox Lewis’s children. However, despite the controversy Tyson’s antics got people interested in his fight with Lewis and generated PPV buys. Another character is Floyd “Money” Mayweather. His antics got people interested in his fights and generated greater revenue. And lets not forget the interviews of Muhammed Ali. What do all these boxers have in common? They were athletes with personalities.

By reaching into his WWE background, Brock has given himself a personality; a cocky, remorseless monster that is seemingly unstoppable.

Brock Lesnar is what the UFC needs. Since the departure of Tito Ortiz, the UFC has yet to unveil a main eventer that people will pay to see, hoping that his next fight is the one where he’s humbled. And hopefully the one who humbles him will be the epitomy of class and sportsmanship. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be watching.
