Note: The following article was written off the top of my head.

I think about things, and one of things I think about is the decline of Rock n Roll. A lot of blame can be laid on MTV. How did MTV, who gave us weird cartoons like The Head or Liquid Television and (their name) music that scared your parents turn into a homogenized, pasteurized, and sanitized reality TV channel that barely plays music? It was a domino effect that started with the Spice Girls. (more…)

They did it! After years of anticipation and stalling, WONDER WOMAN has hit theaters and I’m happy to say it’s not only good, it is dare I say, wonderful. The story of how Princess Diana of Theymiscira (Gal Gadot) becomes WONDER WOMAN is a great movie for reasons I will explain below. But first…

“We want female superhero movies!” say fans. “But women don’t sell tickets,” say execs. The argument’s been done to death. It’s time for concrete proof. And YOU have can provide that proof. So get off your keyboard and buy a ticket to Wonder Woman on opening weekend.

Why? Because despite being an icon, who hasn’t had a feature film, comicbook.com projects Wonder Woman as having the LOWEST DCEU OPENING WEEKEND! This means one thing, it’s up to us fans to make this movie a success.

Do you want that? If you do stop reading, if you don’t read on. (more…)

wwe-survivor-series-759

A month ago I posted an article about how Goldberg coming back to WWE was going to be a disappointment. I was wrong. Goldberg defeated Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series and did it in 90 seconds.

What appeared to be a story designed to give Brock Lesnar back his biggest loss (ala Hogan/Warrior II) became the most talked about 90 seconds of wrestling in 2016. The question on everyone’s mind is “where do they go from here?” The answer: several places. (more…)

Forbes.com reports that Bill Goldberg will be returning to WWE.

This is exciting news for fans who got into wrestling during THE MONDAY NIGHT WARS. WCW’s unstoppable for is returning and, from all video game trailers, is on a collision course with Brock Lesnar. Many of you are excited and you should be. I’m not because I saw this scenario two years ago and all signs point to history repeating itself

In 2000, CrossGen Comics launched. Founded by millionaire Mark Alessi, CrossGen sought to expand the comics industry by forgoing super-hero titles and focusing on the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Victorian Mystery, and Sword and Sorcery genres. Each of CrossGen’s titles stood on their own but was tied to a greater mythology thanks to a Sigil, which was the source of many characters powers.

The “sigil bearers” were supposed to join forces against a cosmic threat called the Negation in the mini-series, NEGATION WAR that would cap off four years of stories. Unfortunately, CrossGen went out of business after the second issue shipped? So what would’ve happened? Only NEGATION WAR writer Tony Bedard knew, until now…

I reached out to Tony to find out his plans for NEGATION WAR. Who’d live? Who’d die? How would the series end? Click to find out.  (more…)

Sasha Banks (left) vs. Bayley (right)

By Todd Matthy

It’s very hard for friends and family to understand why I’m a wrestling fan. Making it harder is when you try to show them, WWE books something stupid and your they look at you and say, “you watch this?” (SummerSlam 2005 is a perfect example)

Then something reminds you of why you love wrestling. A match that inspires you to buy a ticket because you wanted to be there and witness history. Last year in Brooklyn, Sasha Banks and Bayley reminded me of why I fell in love with wrestling.  Want to know why and see EXCLUSIVE photos and video from the Nosebleed Section?  (more…)

William Regal and Triple H with (in order): Bayley, Sasha Banks, Finn Balor, and Enzo and Cas. The future of WWE

So the WWE draft is this week. Like most of you I’m eager to see who ends up on what show. I am also scared. I’m scared because splitting the roster in the name of “unpredictability” could ruin two divisions just when they’ve started to rebuild: the Women’s division and the Tag Team division. My solution, give the women to RAW and the Tag Team’s to SMACKDOWN. Here’s why? (more…)
