I read there’s a petition to have Zack Snyder fired as director of Justice League. While I agree that he doesn’t understand Superman, echo the sentiments many share of Batman vs. Superman, and am pro-people expressing themselves, I’m going to give the petitioners a dose of reality. Why? Because if Zack Snyder is announced as director of Justice League it means he’s under contract. That means he cannot be fired or replaced unless he breaks that contract.

Also, Zack Snyder has an agent. Zack Snyder’s agent reviews his contracts before he signs them. Do you really believe that Zack Snyder’s agent would let him sign a contract where Internet outrage was a firing offense? If he’s a good agent, definitely not.

If you want to protest Zack Snyder’s vision, don’t buy a ticket. That’s the only thing you can do. Because unless he breaks his contract or decides he wants out, we’re stuck with him. To paraphrase Jay Sherman, if you think Zack Snyder’s vision stinks, ” just don’t go” because in the end that is all you can do.
